Looking for type of park - 08-18-2009, 03:00 PM

I am looking for a park in the local ft worth area that has traditional swings. With rope instead of chain and wood plank for seats instead of plastic or rubber . Anybody know of anything like this?

Did you ever find such a place? If so I would be interested in finding the same place...

Ain't going to find it since the liability of weak rope and wooden seats is way to high which is why cities do it. Only real alternative is finding a small local park where you can swap in the old style swings for the shoot and then rehang the swings after the shoot-be sure to clear it with that cities parks dept.
