The Aldredge House on Swiss Avenue or Hotel St. Germaine on Maple (across from The Crescent). Not sure what you have to do to use either one, though.

Aldredge House is really pretty. I shot a wedding there once.

+1 on that. I had my reception there. A friend did her bridal portrait there more recently - a beautiful b/w where she is looking out the gorgeous glass door. Stunning.

in my long history of shooting weddings (i've only shot 1, and i don't plan on increasing that number ), i wasn't that impressed with wildwood. the rooms are pretty nice, but really that's about it. it's pretty much just a really big regular looking house with a backyard and a 'regular' pool. *shrug*

nothing about the place struck me as 'neat', if that makes sense. not that it's a -bad- place...

I had an engagement shoot here and I agree I was not impressed at all. It's alright but nothing great.

I have shot at Thistle Hill in Ft. Worth. A really nice place. I'm not sure what they charge now.

A place I recently attended a workshop at was Ryan Manor, just off of Inwood, south of Lover's Lane. I think they have a website if you google it.
