I'm suffering today from ""oldtimers disease"". What were we talking about ?
"Prison Break" was the Fox series, and a season that was supposed to be set in a Panamanian prison called Sona was shot down there. Pretty cool. In fact, some of that show was shot at various locations in DFW.

It's the Swift Meatpacking Plant. Very cool buildings. They have security 24-7, but I shot a model on the outside perimeter without any problems. I didn't feel like going to jail so we didn't trespass, but I know quite a few photographers that do on a regular basis. Those that were caught were just made to leave, but I don't know if everyone is so lucky :)

A model and I went through the fence on the 23rd St side of the property. There isn't any security on the property but the there is at the TXO Energy buidling across the street. If you make sure to stay away from that side of the property you should be fine. Bring some shoes you don't mind getting muddy if its been raining recently. Not that most people around here wear shorts much this time of year but long pants are a definite must with the high grasses and weeds.

Fox was filming the TV show "Prison Break" there a couple years ago I believe.

A few of the shots are on my site if you're interested.
