Bishop Arts District - 01-19-2010, 08:56 PM

Has anyone shot photos down in the Bishop Arts District? It's in Oak Cliff? I'm looking for Urban type areas just around the Mid Cities if anyone knows of any places off hand. But always wondered about this other place.

I've also wondered about this area. I'd love to see some shots people have gotten there.

I have shot there once, and there's some nice stuff around the area. A good place to stop, cool off and pick up a drink is the Soda Gallery :)

Bump. Any tips or specific spots to check here? I need more urban and I am already Deep Ellum'd out this year and have something planned for the West End as well.

One of my good friends did our family pictures there last Spring. As a photographer myself, I LOVED the area. If I lived in Dallas, it would be one of my regular shooting areas!

Here's the link to our pictures that she took: The Owens Crew | Facebook

Thanks.. I already went and shot there, though it was when the storms were rolling in so we probably spent 15 minutes there. Seems like a very small area from what I could see, but pretty nice. I will try it again in the future.
