Opinion - Couples shoot in Downtown McKinney? (RESULTS POSTED!) - 03-08-2010, 09:42 AM

Hi All,

My best girlfriend (Angie Key - Point & Pray Photography/Keyframe Photography) is going to be doing our 10th anniversary photos this coming Saturday. (How lucky am I to have someone to trade photo sessions with???) I've been debating on location since everything is so BLAH right now. I don't want anything too ultra modern. I'm usually a fan of green grass and flowers. :-(

Anyway - I'm thinking about going to downtown McKinney. Any feedback on this idea for a couples/anniversary session? Anyone have any shoots they would share for ideas?

Thanks so much in advance!

Wait another week or two and I bet they'll be wildflowers starting to pop out. Warm is now our default temperature and with all the rain/snow we've had, the flowers should be incredible this year.

I just checked out downtown McKinney the other day, and it is awesome! It has a really cool urban vibe kind of mixed with the quaint old town feel. There are some awesome doorways and walls down the alleys, in fact, I think I only looked down alleys. Scheduled a senior session there next month! If you go to Flickr and search downtown mckinney, you will get some results with couples. I think it would be a great spot.

I always appreciate seeing the end result of shoots that are talked about here so I thought I'd post the outcome of this one.

The best of the best are here: Celebrating 10 years of marriage Keyframe Photography and the complete gallery is here: Celebrating 10 years of marriage Keyframe Photography. Please note that the Key Frame Photography blog is still under construction.
