I have heard there are impromptu gatherings of hot rods and/or relics at some of the hamburger joints in the Dallas area. Does anyone know of locations?

Keller's Hamburgers on Northwest Hwy on Saturday nights.

There are periodic gatherings of hot rods at Rosa's Cafe in North Richland Hills on the corner of Hwy 26 and Precinct Line (in the Lowe's parking lot). I'm not sure what days though.

Every Friday there is a gathering at Little Rd / I-20 in Arlington near the What-A-Burger. Some are restored and in show condition and others are far from it. Good group of people. Usually starts around 6 or so and draws a pretty good showing, especially with the nice weather.

I've seen them at the Taco Casa (I-30 and Beltline/Broadway) in Garland, but do not know the schedule.

I hope one of these works for you. Cars are a real challenge to photograph. Lots of people in the way and the cars are often close together. I usually must rely on natural light so that can be tough.
