Urban Location in Arlington/Ft Worth - 10-20-2010, 02:46 PM

Hey all! I'm in need of an urban-type place for a shoot. It's for a local R&B singer wanting some photos done. He's suggested a bridge on 360 that's in a spot I would rather not have myself, or my epuipment, in for safety reasons. Anyone have any better ideas?? Thanks!

Need a bit more of an idea as to what he wants as a background.
You can go all the way from Country (Stockyards in Ft Worth) to Rock/Metal (Deep Ellum) to High Opera (The new Opera House in Downtown Dallas or the outside of Bass Hall in Ft Worth) to suburbia and just about anything inbetween.

All he's said is urban. That didn't tell me much either. I'm guessing he's wanting something that would fit with an R&B/Rapper persona.

R+B /Rapper? Man that could be all over the place from GANGSTGA to Conway Twitty-you need a better idea on what he wants/expects.

Can't get much more "urban" than Deep Ellum or maybe some parts of downtown Dallas.

the graffiti bridge in trinity park in fort worth is good, gritty, and urban me thinks. Also, the former swift/armor plants near the stock yards are good.

Believe it or not but downtown Arlington has some spots. Go to Babes and you will find some spots near there.

Ainslee, did you ever find a place? just curious!

downtown Arlington has a few good spots - green/teal tile at Johnny High's next to Babe's. and Babe's did have this teal double decker bus (but it's not always there.) but really only for a short session - limited selection depending on the light.

Alice, I believe the graffiti bridge they are referring to in Trinity Park is over by the duck pond side. It would be the Lancaster street (bridge) going over Trinity Park.
