Looking for an Uptown Dallas Location

I plan on doing some engagement photos pretty soon here in Dallas. I'm looking for some locations in the Uptown Dallas area. Something sort of Urban---ish. Not real sure what we're going for exactly we just know we don't want the typical Arboretum style photos.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I take it no one really shoots in Uptown?

We usually shoot in Deep Ellum. If you look at Jen's Bridals in the wedding section, that's Deep Ellum. There's also all around downtown/the Arts District. If you go to the People section, scroll waayy down, Adam was shot in both Deep Ellum and downtown.

What about something in the Bishop Street Arts District or the area off Lamar just south of downtown (the Cedars)? Not uptown, but definitely urban and also close to downtown. Great buildings and some wall art, but you'll have to contend with traffic and pedestrians. Still, I think those areas are worth scoping out.
