Question Toddler Photos - 01-21-2011, 02:53 PM

I am looking for locations that are child friendly. We will be shooting these photos in mid-March, and already plan on visiting the Arboretum. I am just starting out, and live about an hour and a half from DFW. I am wanting to have a few spots picked out so we don't waste most of our day searching.

Thanks for ANY help!

You can always go to Fair Park, there are several areas there to shoot around...The Farmers Market has areas where vender's sell flowers... Downtown Dallas has all kinds of water area's behind and around the buildings and the fountain in front of the police station,I believe that is what the building is...

I would suggest you go to University Park and look at Hillcrest and Lovers Ln there is a nice small park that is always well landscaped with color and trees as well as University and Williams Prkwy which is 2-3 blocks east of Preston Rd on. There are other areas around SMU as well that can be great locations where you can use shade if it is sunny to keep from blowing out the photograph with and over exposed backgound. There is also a park at Hillcrest and NW Hwy that has lots of playground equipment depending on how old the child is.
