Who knows the location of these murals and art panels? I asked the photographer who took them and all she answered was "Dallas." If anyone can give me a better idea, I would appreciate it.

My daughter loves the orange wall and wants her engagement photos taken there.

Well, I can only be partially helpful, since I'm not sure where all of them are...but the one of the kids in front of the colorful "pizza" slices is at the dog park at Commerce and Good Latimer in Deep Ellum. It's basically underneath Central Expressway (see the freeway up at the top of the image). I know I've seen that wall with the orange squares somewhere right around there as well...I think it's closer to the DART station off Gaston and Good Latimer by the metal guitar man, but I will look for it (I live very near there). She makes it sound like the other murals are in the Arts District downtown, but I sure haven't noticed them. Love that alien frog, though, so I'll be on the lookout for it as well.

Thank you so much. That helps me a lot. At least I have a starting point. I'll bet I can find them, now. Arts District made me think Museum area, not Deep Ellum.

You were on the right track with the Arts District - it is downtown by the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher - the Myerson, the Winspear Opera House, the Wylie Center for the Performing Arts, etc. Basically, the boundaries are Woodall Rodgers Freeway to the north and Ross Avenue to the south and Routh Street to the east and St. Paul to the west. The Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing Arts is also there (right across from One Arts Plaza off Routh). and I wonder if they didn't do some of those fun murals.

The orange wall and the colorful pizza slices are in Deep Ellum. You'll find both of them off Good Latimer.

again, thanks so much. I work in Dallas but the only time I go through downtown is when 35 is backed up and I'm trying to get on 75. haha. I see the Deep Ellum signs but I haven't explored. I am taking photography classes at UTA so am starting to look for fun places to torment my family and make them pose for me.

I can't remember exactly which intersection the music wall is on but it's in Deep Ellum as well. Just wonder down Elm, Main and Commerce and there are plenty of places to shoot.

yeah most of these are in Deep Ellum (if not all) the frog and yellow wall are the only ones I don't recognize from Deep Ellum, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. also - it's crazy how much gets re-painted there, you might show up and it's a different mural or color already. I still love that place though! will be there this weekend for a social shoot ;)

Actually, the more I think about it, I think the orange wall is basically across from the DART line @ Swiss Avenue & Good Latimer.

Yuppers.. They killed off oe of my faves, this awesome aquatic wall. Boo. And the concrete sculptures have been repainted since I was there in May of last year.

Thank you everyone so much. I found my orange wall today at the corner of Swiss and Good Latimer. Yay! I didn't do any shooting. I just did a drive by cause I was supposed to be at work. I will get back by there. I also found the music wall and lots more cool stuff.

Does anyone know of any murals featuring superman/batman in the dfw area? I think that would make a darling backdrop for this year's Halloween costumes! :) thanks.
