Engagement Session Downtown Dallas - Ideas needed! - 04-24-2011, 10:59 PM

Hi there,
I am going to be doing my friends engagement session in downtown Dallas on a Sunday afternoon. I live about 3 hours from Dallas so I am not that familiar with what is available, so I would appreciate some input from fellow photographers.

I was thinking of just driving around the historic district and Deep Ellum, but if I could get some ideas of locations before hand that would help me a great deal.

Also if you know of any parks or corporate office blocks that have some nice water feature would also be awesome!

Many thanks

There is a building at McKinnon and Hunt (can't remember the building name) that has nice landscaping, a reflecting pool and large chess set that you might like. In regard to Deep Ellum.. there is just plenty of stuff along Good Latimer, Main and Elm.. just walk around and you'll see it.

I'd try Fountain Place... they allow photography, but NO tripods.

Fountain Place®

It's right in the middle of downtown.
