Indoor photo location in Midcities/ Fort Worth - 07-14-2011, 07:39 PM

I know this may have been asked and answered many times. We may be doing a photo shot and they would like an indoor location in the Mid cities/ Fort Worth area.

Also I saw a post before about a house in Fort Worth by the Stockyards and it was a really neat location but I can't find the post anymore.

Thanks in advance we are new here and love all the helpful info.

thanks Sunflowerbaby

we actually called there yesterday and they said that as long as we don't have any plug in equipment and it not a big wedding dress or Prom type dress then we are fine. We also called a couple of other hotels in the local area but we were only given the number for the GM and told to contact them.

The stockyards location is a mall right by the coliseum across the street (sort of) from the stockyards visitors center. I know this is an old post, but someone searching through may want this info.

Last time I called The Gaylord (last Summer) they wanted to charge 1500 to shoot there. However, a friend of mine did a photo shoot there over the holidays and said she had no issue with anything. Didn't pay anything either...except valet. She did say it was very crowded though!
Good luck!

Gaylord only charges for bridal/quince pics. A photographer friend of mine does family and engagements there all the time and I recently started doing that too. Now, I dont bring off camera flash or anything... just a single camera with my flash attached or the little foot if I wanted to do some off camera stuff. I dont want to be too intrusive.
