Can anyone give any information about Eagle Mountain Lake, I know there is a blue truck there that many photographers use, but I am more interested in the rustic cabin that houses the truck. Any information or directions you can give would greatly be appreciated =)
Also I imagine I will need a photography permit, is this correct?

I live about 20 minutes from Eagle mountain but I have no idea what you are talking about. You have me interested however. Can you tell us more?

The truck is at Eagle Mountain Lake State Park at the corner of Morris-Dido (Boat Club for you city slickers) and Peden Rd. The park is open during the day but locked at night.

Pull in the parking lot and the truck and old shed are on the right, you can't miss it. The truck, shed and other buildings are all items that have been there as long as I can remember and I have been in the area all my life (nearly 40 years).

There is tons of scenery and wildlife throughout the park also. Lot's of deer especially in the early mornings and evening hours right before dark.

If you go in the warmer months watch for snakes because there are lots of them.
