Do any of you have any ideas on getting a good shot of the Winspear from just northeast of downtown? I would like to have a good portion of the skyline in the shot, as well as Reunion.

Nope. The Winspear isn't very tall. You won't even be able to see it from the NE. Well, you can see the back of the building and the side... but that's it. The Winspear is best shot from the South, Southeast, and Southwest.

I saw a shot, although I don't remember where, that was from the east, just south of woodall, and had the Winspear and Reunion left center of the photo. Ideas on where this could have been shot from?

Hey Mike, take a look at these shots:
downtown dallas arts district

You might be able to get the photographer who took those to give you his locations.

If you know anyone who lives at the Post Uptown Village, there's a small tower near the apartment office. It's just north of Woodall Rogers. Maybe not the best view of the skyline, but you do get the Winspear, and it's a pretty safe location.
