The Harbor, Rockwall - 11-13-2006, 11:18 AM

Just took some family pictures at the new Harbor in Rockwall. I would highly recommend this as a locale. Just make sure that the day you is not going to be too windy. The wind coming over the lake can be quite intense.

Picts - 11-17-2006, 12:03 AM

I am making a Christmas card for the family, so this has a few of the pictures taken there. The two boys were taken in front of different fountains and the family shot was in front of a waterfall down near the lake. I will have more later, but these are the only ones I have processed so far. A lot of text is missing from the card since I didn't feel comfortable posting their names.

I did a look-see early one cloudy morning at The Harbor when few people were about. I was trying to get an idea of the possibilities. These images are not much to look at because I didn't "photoshop" them...just adjusted white balance before i started shooting. I reduced the resolution so they wouldn't take up much storage space on TPF's server. I'll keep them loaded for awhile in case others haven't visited there yet and then dump them.

Ya, the harbor really looks like a neat place to shoot. They are adding stuff all the time and there are some cool fountains. I have not actually done a shoot there yet, but there is a lot of potential

Does anybody know if there is any kind of permit needed to shoot at the Harbor? I was just there with my family and did a few shots... but didn't want to take a client there until I knew if I needed a permit (ala Los Colinas and the Riverwalk.)

Permit not needed unless new rules were recently established.
