I was hoping to make the trip to Dallas to attend. Started to register but found the following:
- In order to attend, all photographers will have to sign a waiver form. It will state that you will turn in your pictures to the Cowboys in exchange for credit. This states that photographers will donate their work to the cowboys in exchange you will receive credit if the picture(s) are used for publication or any other means.

Is this just to take pictures of the stadium itself?

My taxes paid for a chunk of it, I ought to get to do that for free... LOL

Actually, I have shot a few events there and have all the pics I need. I was thinking there was some specific event going on at the stadium.

This is a special event for photographers. We will be allowed to bring professional cameras, tripods, lighting, etc. We will be going to areas that are not open for the public, was well as the event is close to our group.

Cowboys does not allow individuals to bring professional camera equipment, bags, etc into the statium for pictures.

As to donating the pictures. They would like a copy of your pictures for their use. In return you will receive credit. Attendees can send pictures in on CD and you can put your logo on them or watermark. Up to you. It is on the honor system.

Hope this helps in your questions. Please feel free to let me now if you have more.

So I read here it is $20, then on your other site it says there is an additional $25, bringing the total to $45. Are there any other fees? Parking? Passes? Fees to enter certain places? If my wife wants to come along and help me but does not intent on photographing anything herself, does she have to pay the whole $45 as well bringing the total to $90? Can I pay all the money to one person at one time? Paypal? On site the day of the shoot? Cash? Check? CC?

In return for our pictures we will receive a 'credit'.... credit for what? Tickets?

I think by that she means "Photo Credit", you know, your name printed with your picture when they use it so everyone knows who took the picture.

Yes. Photo Credit is correct.

The event is still open. There are no other charges that I am aware of. The $25 is an annual fee for Premium members.

We do this all the time, offer our pictures in trade for letting us shoot a venue. Cowboys stadium is no different. This is a special event because members will be allow to take any and all equipment into the Stadium. This has not been allowed before unless you were hired by the Cowboys to take "official" photographs.

On the public tours, you cannot not take professional camera equipment, bags, strobes, flash stands, etc. You cannot use a lens longer than 3". there are major restrictions on photographing.

I hope this answers a few of your questions.
