Event: Eagle Fest 2010 (Lake Fork, TX)

Most photographers will be meeting up at Rains ISD off Hwy 69 south. If you need directions or further information please feel free to contact me.

Meeting Date: Saturday, Feb. 6
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Rains ISD in front of Jr. High Building

Rains County is Eagle Capitol of Texas. Lake Fork is home to 74 Bald Eagles.

Schedule of Events:
~Last Chance Forever-Birds of Prey Outdoor Show
-----Chance to get up close and personal with endangered species of prey. They will hold the birds afterwards for our group of photographers to take pictures of.
~Blackland Prairie Raptor Center
~Texas Parks and Wildlife
~Food and Fun
~Birding Tours
~Special Exhibits

Cost: $5.00 for land guided tours + $1.00 for entry.

Sheri: The group will be meeting up at the Rains JR Parking Lot. I will email out my cell number to the group a few days before incase someone gets lost. There will be a photo contest with the Eagle Fest to help promote the awareness of this great event.
