Add-on features include access to photo pit ($40) or guided photo tour ($50) (begins 7:00 AM). These must be purchased online in advance.

PHOTO TOUR - $40 per day Gain exclusive access to the static display and performer aircraft. Pass holders will receive an escorted ramp tour of aircraft on the ramp prior to the gates opening. Tour escorts are professional photographers. LIMITED number of passes are available.

Photo Tour Guidelines:
Tour begins at 7:00 AM and concludes at 9:00 AM.
No admittance for tour after 7:00 AM.
(1) VIP Parking Pass - as supplies last.
Combo packages available

Photo Tour Restrictions:
Photo tour for pass holders only (no family or additional guests).
Children under age 12 are not permitted to be pass holders.
No smoking at anytime during the Photo Tour.

PHOTO PIT - $50 per day Gain exclusive access to a 'photographer-only' area near show center along the crowd line. LIMITED to 72 photographers each day.

Photo Pit Includes:

70' x 40' fenced area
Located just south of show center along the crowd line.
Opens at 9:00 am, when air show gates open
(1) shared 10' x 10' tent with a table for camera equipment. (One tent for photo pit.)
Chair seating, unreserved.
Bottled water available from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
(1) Box Lunch with deli hoagie, cold salad, potato chips, fruit, dessert and condiments served from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
(1) VIP Parking Pass - as supplies last

Photo Pit Restrictions:

First timer to this one for me. I didn't purchase any of these yet, but I'd like to know what combo package goes for? Less than $90?

Combo prices are $80.00 each day for photo pit + static or $150 for both days. I am curious if the static photo tour is worth it.

Static tour has new availability. They added another guide. Decided to sign up for the tour as well.

Nice, I'm in the tour and pit on Saturday too. Does anyone know if they have power available in the pit?

I floated the power question via their Facebook page.... they said there is no available power in the photo pit.

Thanks Jennifer, I've asked a question or two over on their FB page too and they seem to not respond much to photog type questions.

Anyway, another thought, what would be a good lens for the static show? Curious about how much reach would be needed on a FF? I'll have a FF and crop with a 17-40/4, 50/1.4, 85/1.4, 70-200/4 available. How would you pair these bodies with my available glass?

I'll be using the 100-400 on the 5DMK2 and 17-40 on the 30D in the pit.
