Welcome to the Civil War Center of Texas March 2009 Living History Event
Located at The Beaumont Ranch, Grandview, Texas

March 13, 14, & 15 2009 Grandview, Texas – Battle of Beaumont Hill. This is a three day event beginning with School days on Friday. Come early and help share living history with the 600+ children who usually attend.

Promoted by the Civil War Center of Texas and Hosted by 13th Texas Cavalry, Captain Mark Hanna.

Pre-registration fee is $3.00 per person, or $9.00 for family of four +. Pre-registration deadline for Military and Civilian participants for this event is February 27th. All who register after the deadline will be charged $5.00. Walk on participants will be charged $10.00.

For more information and registration forms check our web-site www.cwct.org or contact CWCT director Berta Molinets 817-229-8115 bertca@aol.com or Mark Hanna 214-587-9770 firstlthanna@yahoo.com.

The CWCT offers two events per year, a full re-enactment on the 2nd weekend of March and a Living History weekend on the 2nd weekend of October. In October we offer classes in a wide variety of period subjects. Volunteers from our Civilian Living History organization visit schools and civic organizations to demonstrate what life was like during the American Civil War period and help to lead the audience on an exciting journey of discovery into what helped make the United States the great nation it is today
We are pleased to have the 13th Texas Cavalry, Major M. D. (Mark) Hanna, in command as our Military Advisors and Coordinator. Boy Scout Troop 1880 rounds out our living history family, both groups bringing much to our organization in working toward our goal of educating the public in an environment that is fun and exciting.
Sincerely;
Berta Molinets
