Event: Birds of Prey Photo Day
When: Saturday, June 6th, 7:30 am to 11am
Where: Brockdale Park in Lucas
Join us for Birds of Prey Photography Day at BPRC's new home at Brockdale Park. The education ambassadors of BPRC will be out for you to photograph. This is a rare opportunity to get ‘up close and personal’ with magnificent raptors. BPRC staff and volunteers will have stations set up with natural backgrounds for you to take all the pictures your camera’s memory can handle.
BOP Photography Day runs from 7:30am to 11am to get the best light and before it becomes too hot for birds and guests. Take as much time as you want with your favorite raptor or try to get them all!
Also, the wildflowers on the prairie should be in bloom for photographers interested in more than just the raptors.
Admission is $20 per person and space is limited to the first 200 registrants. This event filled up quickly last year so sign up today by going to our donation page, enter the fee into the donation amount field, and in the comment section at the bottom of the page type in “Registration for BOP Photo Day”. This must be in the comment section for us to make sure you are signed up and check you in the day of the event.
