AUSTIN folks! I need a darkroom or bag ASAP!

I was given a 4x5 camera yesterday for class, but i forgot to bring my film to load it up in the labs...
Today i brought my film, but forgot the film holders at home.


I'd rather not have to make another trip to San Marcos to pop in my film into my 4x5 holders.


Anyone near the down town area?

Got a inside bathroom or closet with no windows?? Just wait till it's dark, turn off all the house lights, and then test for any light leaks. Use a sleeping bag??

all my rooms have windows.
And my closet is too small i think.. :(

But i might try it to see what happens. I always forget about the closet!

Make a list. Check it twice. Pack a bag with everything you need and leave everything in the bag. Large format has very strict requirements. Brain in gear is #1. I can say this because I've made all the stupid mistakes any 3 people could make. I also know very experienced & skilled photographers who make the same mistakes. Like Vaughn in California. Drove to Yosemite from the coast. Left his loaded 8x10 holders at home.

Check your list.

Long term: If you stay with large format, buy a Harrison Tent. Worth it's weight in gold.
