Walgreen's and CVS should both do process-only if you ask.

Walgreen's has charged me about $2.35 for 24exp. and about $3.35 for 36exp., negs only and no scanning. If you ask them not to cut the roll, they'll comply. However, they don't have those long film sleeves that the pro labs will give you; so I ask them to roll the film into an empty plastic film canister for me.

As far as doing process only for 135 at Sam's, you can refuse the prints and just buy the negs.

i've noticed about 80% of the time Walmart/Fuji will charge me the same price for 220 C41 as 120 C41. Although sometimes a more observant Fuji employee will charge the correct price of $2.80 per roll of 220 (no 3x3 prints). I guess they don't get many 220 rolls.

They haven't charged me for 220 yet. I've got a bunch and using it up first. Before they catch on. However, if the lab near Dallas is closing, I may get nailed when it leaves Texas.

Oh good. I don't remember where I last accidentally checked the PhotoCD box on an order, but I do remember that the scans were surprisingly low-res (1024x768, IIRC) and even though it was a C41 B&W film, they'd scanned it as color, so it had the (inverted) cast of the film substrate.

I guess since they invite you to check the prints before you pay, you should also bring your laptop in and check the files too
