The 120 Arista 400 is Foma 400. Box speed might be a stretch. Bracket between 200 & 400 on the first roll.

I'm going for a 1/2 stop under at 400 for the first roll, maybe 320 for the rest. 6.5 minutes with 1:31 HC110. Here's a little something to make you salivate:

The 35mm supply about covers us for the panning and zoom photos (they're as boring as they sound), and hopefully we'll get the kids to actually shoot something they care about and develop it too.

Currently we're doing a study of Man-Ray and Moholy-Nagy, starting shadowgrams late this week or next week hopefully.

Currently we're low on paper developer and hypoclear, looks like a trip to co-op is in order.

Or if anyone wants to trade an unopened bottle of HC110 (or three) or Freestyle BW film dvel for paper dvel (doesn't have to be fancy, just a large quantity) I'm all ears.

It's not a big deal, we just have too much of one thing and not enough of the other (how perfect.)

Here are the BW results: Better shot at 320 than 400 (Wayne suggested between 200- and 400), the dvel is better at 5:45 or 6:00 than the box suggested 6.5min (this is with HC110 dil. B of 1:31). I'll post some scan, left it drying this afternoon. Shot some Ektar this afternoon and going to try sending it away at WalMart.

Daniel W. added 1667 Minutes and 57 Seconds later...Double Post Merged Below

Here are a few more from B&W developing! I'm loving the contrast of Foma / Arista 400. At web res it doesn't look great but the negs look amazing!

You may want to have Fedka do a CLA/Repair on you Kiev88. The specialize in ex-USSR cameras. I was more than happy with the full restore they did on my NKVD FED.

Their rates are very reasonable and based here in the U.S.

Kieve CLA and repair

Check them out.

I've been pondering it, but to me really, it's a toy. A fun toy at that. It doesn't look like Fedka does the 88, but KievUSA in Greenwich does, or Arax (which includes shipping it to Kiev.)
