I have one of these, and it is great, however, the Silverfast Ai software is 6.4 something, and I have to pay $50 to upgrade to 6.6. Anyone use this, and is it worth the money? --------------------------- Texas can exist without the United States, but the United States, cannot, except at great peril, exist without Texas. I'm with Wayne. EpsonScan seems to perform best for me on my V700. I have a pro license for VueScan and the bundled version of Silverfast Ai. Neither of them have performed as well as EpsonScan on the V700 or NikonScan on the CoolScan 5000. I concur as well. I tested Nikon Scan against the Silverfast that came with my Coolscan V, and the Nikon was better, so I dumped the Silverfast. Same thing with my older Epson flatbed, I'm just using Epson Scan for 120 negs. --------------------------- "The trail is the thing, not the end of the trail.
