FIlm Trade? - 05-12-2010, 06:47 PM

So ive got a ton of expired b&w 120 film in my fridge, and im shooting 35mm mostly now, especially since my Yashicamat is on loan to my friend in new york. (And I dont wanna hear backtalk about, "Oh, I thought you were digital now" cuz you know darn well I bounce back and forth, it what keeps it interesting)

So, anyone have any expired film they wanna let go of. b&w or Color, i dont care.

Film trade anyone?

A. Expiration date, brand, emulsion, etc.?
B. What do you want in trade? 35mm? Color? Positve or negative? B&W?

Depending on what it is...i may be interested. We have a lot of expired 35mm. Wayne can testify if it is good or not. I don't know. I inherited through marriage.

I bought this stuff in Bulk a while back, havent actually developed any of it. Its all Expired GAF B&W 120asa film, it expired in 1970. :)

Yeah...

Honestly, it wouldnt even have to be an even trade. I just want to get my hands on some film to run through my 35mm cameras that arent getting any use...and my wife wants her fridge back.

I feel bad, ive got so many stinkin cameras that get ZERO use. I think I may be a camera collector. Ive got a Canon AE-1 with some awesome FD glass and a Nikon FM10 that never get any use.

I said up above in an earlier post, its 120 GAF b&w film, still sealed in the original wrapping, that expired in 1970. Ive got a little under 20 rolls of the stuff.

My wife wants room in the fridge.

Oh I thought you were kidding! Wow, expired in 1970. Your wife is patient! She's like "Okay, I've waited 40 years now and you still haven't shot the film. Enough is enough."

I'm showing my age here, but I had to google GAF film.

Has it been refrigerated the entire time? I'm not sure how well 40 year old film will develop. I just tried developing 55 year old (exposed)film with disastrous results. The emulsion came off in chunks.
