Well, I kept telling myself that I wouldn't shoot too much film. I wouldn't buy anymore film cameras. In September, I'll be at RIT where I can have my fill of Leicas, Hassys, Mamiyas, 4x5's, and whatever to my heart's content. But I couldn't resist.
I stopped in a pawn shop on Westheimer while between assignments today and saw a "well loved" RB67 on the shelf, asking $270, with the 137/3.8 C lens, and back. The timing sounded accurate, everything lined up, and I left out the door $225 lighter and one camera heaver. (Much much heavier). They also had a 180/?? and metered finder, but I wanted to limit expenditures. (In full disclosure, there was also a 645AF, a few Bronicas, but neither I knew how to test.) I wasted a roll of Neopan fiddling around, getting a hang of the two-stroke advance. It's shot. Second roll, around the house and whatnot, somewhat blurry but the frame spacing is even (can't say that about the Kiev 88) and the exposure seems on-par. Might run a roll of Ektar or whatever through to make sure it lines up with Walmart's sendaway. (My Sam's club discontinued 120 send outs, and raised the price on 135 processing

)
Does anyone want a Kiev88+finders+80/2.8 with an erratically spaced back?
