Glad someone who appreciates it got it. You saved me some money. Grinning.
Enjoy! It's a good camera. The lens is GREAT! I had one ages ago. The negatives from that camera are still some of my best.

I've gone through a roll already! I will have two blank frames because I shot the first two with the camera in "unlock" so that little dealio was blocking the back of the taking lens. Oooops.
This weekend I'll get out the chemicals and develop some film!

I forgot-this Saturday October 9.
There is a rumored medium format excursion in the making probably starting at The Woodlands. The focus was supposed be a 6x7 outing. We don't mind 6x6 users jumping in. If you can make it, come on down!

We'll have to see. I'm chasing a mechanical engineering degree at the moment and the vast majority of my time is swallowed by drawing diagrams and then doing a lot of math.

I know, I know. Believe me I wish my DD-214 was worth as much as a degree. On that note.. off to design 1 I go.

DD-214? I think mine was carved on a clay tablet. Have fun!

Developed the first roll earlier in the evening. I don't have an actual film scanner, but that's from my RX595. Real hard to get the film on there flat, and it doesn't have a light source behind the film.
These negatives are gigantic. I like it. I like it a lot.

Thanks! I really like using this camera. It's a whole lot more fun to frame up a shot and release the shutter with it than it is my SLRs.

Once you are totally hooked on the MF, we will pull out the big guns.... large format. There's nothing quite like that 8x10 negative!
