It would depend on what your camera can handle bellows wise.

I have a 75. A 65 is to wide and leaves almost no room for movements.

Some folks prefer the 90.

My normal is a 135. Very close to your 127.

My long is a 210. Not terribly different from your 180.

A 75 is = 23 on ff 35.

A 90 = 27

A 127= 38

A 135 = 40

A 180 = 54

A 210 = 70

These two pages should help.

Unless it's been trashed, I don't think your 180mm Fujinon could be described as a "crappy old lens". What brand is the 127mm? If it's a Kodak Ektar it's a keeper. Limited image circle, but sharp as a razor. If the glass is clean and the shutters work both lenses are plenty good. Use what you have first. In a year or two you will know which way your vision needs to go. Either wider or longer.
Do you your homework on 90mm lenses. Some are outstanding. Others not so much. Among older 90's there are some sleepers at good prices. Search The Large Format Forum for information on specific lenses.

ps: Before Kevin jumps on me...

I didn't follow my advice. I now own more lenses than I know what to do with.
