do not wash after stabilizer or you'll off wash the stabilizer... stabilizer should be your absolute last wash...

because of the low silver content, c41 films are more prone to grow fungus and mold. the stabilizer prevents that... if you wash after the stabilizer you wash off the thing that prevents mold.

My solution to spotty negs is using distilled water to mix the stabilizer, and mixing a little photoflo in with the stabilizer...

stabilizers purpose is to keep the dyes in the film emulsion from fading. fungus and mold won't grow in a properly controlled environment.
