Exclamation Where to get my FILM DEVELOPED ASAP? - 12-30-2010, 04:58 PM

Ahh okay, so I have a B&W film that I need to get developed. I tried Walmart but they said they'll have it ready in 2 WEEKS, and I need it before that. And plus you can't just get it developed, you have to buy the prints too, but I don't care much about the prints. Is there anywhere else I could get my B&W film developed probably in less than 3 days?

EDIT: Oh boohoo, this place is no help. Houston Camera Exchange disappoints me greatly too. They don't process B&W film AT ALL. :/

oh boohoo. sorry we're no help. and that we didn't get to your question within 15 minutes.

first, wally world is rumored to do developing only.

second, is your film true b&w or b&w c41 process?

third, try az labs, across the street from the coop if true b&w. if c41, take to walgreens or cvs.

fourth, do it yourself or see if someone here would help you (not sure if your attitude will help with this). i could do it in about 15 minutes.

fifth, welcome.

What they ^^^ said.
You could visit Houston Camera Co-op and obtain all of the required stuff to do it yourself in about 15 minutes. Then in about 2 dozen rolls or less you would know all there is to know to develop B&W film forever.
How will you print? Pure analog? Or analog to digital?
Planning ahead is your friend.

ps: Google had all of the above information prior to your post.

You are disappointed with others when you did not plan? If you shoot film you need to plan on 4+ weeks. You shot film and expected to get it developed quickly and not do it yourself? two+ weeks to be developed and contact sheet printed and then another two weeks for printing.

By all means, we must be fair! Grinning.

I bet a roll of 120 film of your choice, from my stash, we never hear from Nicole (VanillaMist) again.

We've known that for about 6 months. Some folks even drove to Parsons, KS to turn in their film the morning of 12/30/2010. I would have made that trip if I hadn't used all of my vacation back in November.

Hi Nicole,

Welcome to the site.

They are treating you a little rough for some reason.

If you read down this far, here are two places to try.

Don't worry, not all of us are as mean spirited.
