and am generally pleased with how easy it is to use. Development times are longer than D-76, but that doesn't really bother me at all.

man -- that looks really clean and tight! Just comparing these to the shots that you have on your flickr stream developed in the d-76 (although different films) it appears that the ilford combo gives a much less contrasty end result than the d-76 and fuji neopan

Yeah, I just went through and looked in Lightroom (hurrah for keywording and filters) and you may be on to something. I do like the look of the Ilford films, though I'm not opposed to trying to shooting other emulsions in this format. I still have some FP4+ and some Delta 400 I need to shoot before I do another big film order.

I don't really like that you cut off Colby's leg, but the pics look nice. Good use of contrast.

There was a wall in my way! No way I could back out far enough to keep the whole leg. Though if I'd cut it off for real, I still have my combat field kit which does include a hemostatic bandage AND a tourniquet. Lauren was whining in the corner over my left shoulder so I switched targets for a moment. Some of the Lauren photos may surface later.

I've been shooting Tri-X for decades, and more recently some HP5+. However, some of the better negs I've gotten lately have been on the T grain films, both Ilford and Kodak. So, I am going to explore them further. DDX is Ilford's recommended developer for the Delta films.

Love the table and the window, btw.

I still have like 10 rolls of Tri-X I never processed back in 99. I'm sure they suck, but I'd like to dunk them anyway.

Wife nixed the idea of turning the guest bathroom into a dark room. :/

Anthony, those are some great tones in your shots!! I like the Delta 100 overall look with DD-X better than the HP5+ ...but I am generally negative about HP5+ - - I have never liked it and used it only under duress.

BTW, if you want to bring the C3 lens over and we can clean it sometime this weekend, then give me a call or send me an email... I have some work to do hauling stuff to the storage unit, etc., but I should be able to work in some lens cleaning time around it...

I welcome comments on any picture I post... Thanks.

Thanks! I haven't been ignoring that, things have been a little hectic. I'm an uncle now, and since school ended I've burned through quite a lot of diesel driving all over the state for various family affairs. I should be free this weekend though, and I'll give you a call.

But you don't need a darkroom to dunk film, just a closet with a towel stuffed under the door is good. You've just got to get it out of one can and put it in another.

I can do them for you. We can meet somewhere/sometime. Give me the film & and a flash drive. I'll process and scan and give them back.

That's not nearly as fun, though!

Wayne, thanks for the offer. I may take you up on that. Just need to find what corner of this house I stashed it all.

Exposed & sitting for 10 years may be long enough to have to worry about fogging... Do one and assess...
