I picked up my 120 color negatives from the Galveston film crawl last night. Walmart/Fuji charged $2.80/roll develop only. Up from the previous price of $0.84/roll. Bummer.

Wayne, if that is going to be the new going rate, then you may want to consider taking them to the Photo Lab on I-10 and for a dollar or 2 more, get them the next day... He runs C-41 multiple times a day and his normal turn around can be as short as 2-3 hours and his longest, when he is *really* busy, is a day or two. And you can hop into Ranch 99 for a lunch of Asian food that will probably save you the incremental dollar or 2 you spent on the film (...over another purchased lunch somewhere else...).

I welcome comments on any picture I post... Thanks.

Wes,
Not a bad idea. But I would need to save up several rolls. The 2 round trips ain't cheap. Unless I could time it just right and drop off-pick up without an extra trip. Walmart, on the other hand, is between the office & the apartment. I would love to give them all of my business. The logistics just don't make sense.

Folks at the RFF are all saying that the Walmart/Fuji price varies all over the map. Maybe I just got caught on a bad day. I'll be dropping off the recent snow pictures roll next week. Fingers crossed.

Sending film to Fuji is something of a gamble price wise. Last night I collected the snow pictures from the "Blizzard" at the house. The price was back to normal. 120 & 220 are priced the same: $0.84/roll. Shoot 220 kids.
