I am actually thinking of getting some 120 color film and breaking out the old Yashica TLR and shooting some film. Due to issues with developing B&W, I will be shooting Color negative film that I can get processed locally, so any suggestions?

Suggestions about what? Film, or developing locale's?

Houston camera exchange does good work with 120, but your gonna pay.

And what's this about film being dead? Its alive and well as far as im concerned. Proof? Something is making you want to break out your Yashica :)

Grinning. Welcome back!
Kodak released a new variation of Portra 400 recently. It replaces the NC (normal) and VC (vivid) versions. Folks on the internet report great things from this film. Exposed at anything from EI 25 to EI 3200. A similar Portra 160 was announced last week. It should be available sortly. Ektar 100 has been around for a few years. It's good too.
Enjoy.

Here is a 6x6 example of Ektar 100.

I almost forgot. The day we met y'all at Zedler's Mills I had Portra 800 loaded. If you recall, it was raining all morning. The extra speed came in handy. Grain? Nope. Not with 6x6 negatives.

Start saving for a scanner.

...one more thing.
Kodak BW400CN for a black & white fix in C-41 chemistry.

Aww dude, really? If your gonna use b&w, use a REAL b&w

I just bought four rolls of THIS stuff.

Not sure what it will look like, but ive never been dissapointed with Fuji.

Ektar 100 is nice too. I also like Fuji Reala. Very nice colors.

Actually, BW400CN is a very nice B&W film. It does things that are difficult to replicate with traditional silver based films.
