Precision Camera just sends their film to Holland Imaging which is across the river, so you might as well bypass the middle man.

That's only true for Black and White, they do their own color processing.

B&W is so easy and cheap to do at home, honestly if you shoot b&w film just get set up to do at home. Its easier than you would think.

Dont listen to Wayne. :) He likes to follow the rules.

I make my own rules. And I try to simplify the process as much as possible.

It helps to know the rules first. Then break them.
Grasshopper is right about one thing: do it yourself. Not for saving money (you will), for control over your negatives. Control you will never get handing your film to someone else.

Forget the other guys and just listen to Wayne :) He was spot on in listing off all the stuff you need to do. Freestyle Photo is a great place to pick up developing supplies on the cheap (since you're not in Texas :-P ) If you have never processed 120 before I would recommend picking up the Arista Premium double reel tank with reels. I say this for two reasons: 1. It's like $20, 2. 120 in unexperienced hands will bind and crinkle when going into a reel, which is bad, and the Arista Premium reels have very tall guides that make it much easier to get the film onto the reel in complete darkness.

Oh worry not, he still uses a slide rule faster than I can type. Slide rule or no, they wouldn't have been able to pilot the LM w/o the calculations those scripts did during the design of its avionics. That's all far beyond the scope of this discussion though.
