ok, just got some film back from WM. the negative film this time was only 84 cents (not sure why they've charged me $2 in the past...) and cut and sleeved, and the positive film was $4.88 and was not cut - they had the whole roll sleeved and put into a cardboard tube for protection. not a huge deal, i cut it myself.
and, here's one from the first Mamiya 6 roll, fuji reala 100: | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

I'm going to have to look at using WM... cheap indeed.

Should be another week or so now and my Wal-Mart run ought to be done. $4.88 is less than half what E-6 runs there, so I'm definitely fine with that.

Hi. I'm Kenny and I live in College Station. (I'm not an Aggie but they do sign my paychecks.)
Recently started shooting film and have fallen in love with slide film. Problem is, the Ritz Camera store here has to send them off for developing and it's two weeks. I'm not pleased with that and I'm hoping someone can give me some ideas about better turnaround. Haven't checked Walmart yet.
Thanks in advance.
ps Oops! Meant to start a new thread.

Wal-Mart also sends it off and it also takes two weeks. In College Station, I don't know where you'd go for a faster (but more expensive) turnaround for E-6 development. There's always the option to buy the chemistry and do it yourself.

Indeed. When I need color, and I need it now, I go to AZ. Otherwise? Wal-Mart.

Where do ppl go to get 35mm C41 done? The Walgreen's down the street now charges $5 per 24 exp. roll for develop only. Way too much money now.

Be careful with the walmart thing. If you send out black and white it costs like $9-$10 a roll. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
