Mine is the 212, sorry. They still come in both models. | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Figured as much :)
I've got the 212 as well. Many moons ago I replaced the factory tubes with some "Ruby" 12AX7s in the preamp, and Svetlana 6L6s in the poweramp. The result was most excellent.

I have the original Dynaco 12AX7s (long plate Telefunken) in my Dynaco PAS-3 and Mallard EL34s in the ST-70. I think I have a complete set of Marshall EL34s as well.
Tubes are so nice.

my Pro Junior goes BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZ really loud because the tone pot is busted (and not really connected anymore). I'm pretty sure I'll die if I open it up and try to fix it myself, but I'm too lazy to find an actual amp tech to do it.

I sent my Dynaco gear to a guy in Dripping Springs, TX. Complete rebuild. Thay sound really sweet.

It's more expensive than several store-bought options in my experience. Works well though. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
