This is pretty much for people in the northwest Harris/Montgomery/Waller county area. i.e Hockley and surrounding areas.

Over the holidays I started building out a small section of my barn into an aor conditioned darkroom area and bought a Jobo CPE-2+. I'm just processing and scanning the film, so it's not a huge area and doesn't have any enlargers and such. I do have tanks for both roll film and 4x5 sheet. I got to thinking that I'm probably not the only one in the area who could make use of the processor and the space. When it's all finished I'll be set up for processing color and B&W.

Let me know if you might be interested. I was thinking of either letting people use the space for a donation if you bring your own chemistry, or as a monthly/annual use fee if you want to share chemicals. I don't consider myself even a proficient processor yet so I don't want to process for other people, but if you want to do your own this may be what your looking for.

If there's some interest in this I'm thinking of putting the project up on Kickstarter for some funds to add a few amenities/finish out the project since it will really be a project and not just a space for me.

Make sure you talk to Lee Crump... he has been knocking around this same idea for the past few years and it would be good to hear what his success was and what kind of response he got...
