A day with a gooberbrain. (many pics)

When I wake up first thing in the morning, this is what I see on my chest.



And when I look down at my feet I find that I'm overwhelmed with even more furry critters...



Time to climb out of bed and pull my pants on.



And my shirt!



I peak outside to see what the weather is like.



After staggering into the bathroom like a zombie I contemplate the bags under my eyes and feel like a general slob.



Time to sit at the computer to get some work done. I have three illustrations that I'm supposed to send to the art director this evening. Can you say "procrastination"?



Is this thing not working? It's not creating art!



Well enough work! Time for more procrastinating! Hmm... let's pack some bread and go feed the birds!



Helps to put on shoes first.



Lock up before the big adventure!

The prison gates open. It's a good thing I'm disguised as a guard... they'll never know I escaped.



Park the car.



It's my parents house! They live by the birdy pond and my mom want to walk down there with me.



Breakfast with my dad - or a free ad for Post cereal.



Down at the pond with the peking ducks lucky enough to avoid the Chinese restaurants in the area.



A surprisingly gentle goose getting some munchies from my mom.

The Most Boring Sandwich In The World (TM)



My mom asked me to drive her to get her flu shot and the guy let me take a picture. You can't read it but the syringe says "Ebola" on the side. He accidently gave her a flesh eating virus injection instead of a routine flu vaccine. We all have a good laugh over that! Haha... silly ebola!



Bars on the windows to prevent malnurished thug vegans from stealing cases of vitamin B-12.



My mom offered to buy me a chai! Mmmmmm!



I'm a consumer whore!



Time to put on some gamer nerd music for the ride home.



My very unexciting stairwell. Well, ya know... it's not MINE... but it leads to my apartment... and well... you know what I mean, yeesh!



I get inside and kick off my shoes. Ahh.... relaxing. There definitely isn't anything else I should be working on right now. Though something in the back of my mind makes me think I have an important task to complete... hmmm....



Important task... nawww.... oh wait! Look it's Gizmo! I think that's all it was. I was supposed to look at my cat again today...



Oh wait. Haha... YEAH... that's right. WORK.



Coming along well I think.



Oh oh oh! Here we go. I'm gonna start! I have inspiration coming to me!

After staring at the blank canvas again for a little while, I realize I haven't fed my carnivorous furballs!



And I also realize that I want a few bites of the leftover casserole in the fridge. ;)



I'm really tired after having only gotten 2-3 hours of sleep last night and running around all morning. I decide I want a little nap before dinner. Smudge lurks on the nightstand.



ooooh comfy...



turning off the lights to better enter the snooze mode.



when i wake up... *gasp!* big surprise! guess what is the first thing i see again?? it's mango!



before going out i want to take a shower. and before anyone asks - YES that owl picture is actually in my shower. O RLY??



my shower could use a good scrubbing.



usually my toenails are nekkid, but i still have polish on from halloween.



one of the only sections of the towel that isn't stained pink from drying my red hair!



the uber messy make-up drawer



blurry reflection while powdering up. (i originally typed "powering up"... that would have been a lot cooler to see, wouldn't it?)



slap on a tank top and look down to notice i'm covered in cat hair.



zoomin' like a moomin to pick up jah and heath. ok... not really zoomin', but yeah...



some sleep deprived computer programmers exit the building and get in the car with me



parked on the street and started walking towards the coffee shop. liquor and nails. hardcore!

gingerbread biscotti which was quite tasty, even for me and i don't like biscotti

none of us had eaten dinner so it was time to hit the late night pizza joint for munchies!



at this point my memory card started screwing up and corrupted images. *sad beth* so i was left with this one blurry shot of my tasty pizza.

hahaha, trust me - I made an effort to be out and about for this so I wouldn't have shots of me sitting at my computer all day. though i probably should have done that, seeing as i have those illustrations to turn in. hahaha

Good job! I am a Major procastinator myself, so I would have pics of my computer as well lol or of my pillow...some days I don't even leave the house for nothing and I have no work to do, so just sit there chatting away procastinating lol but one day I will stop Procastinating and find a nice bussy day to document, not sure which century that will be but I will (if I don't die before it lol )
