The (boring) day of a stay at home mom...

Soraya (Sor-rye-ah) wakes up at 8am and is ready to be changed and fed.



I kid you not...as soon as I get her all buttoned up and am about to pick her up...I hear a noise that tells me she needs to be changed again.

Meanwhile, Liberty continues to sleep. I asked her if she wanted to go outside, and she didn't even open her eyes. Usually she jumps up and runs to the door.



I put Soraya on her playmat so I could cook breakfast...but I couldn't find my camera so no picture of it. Breakfast was eggs, a banana, and a glass of grape-cranberry juice. There is nothing wrong with eating breakfast directly from the skillet!



Now Soraya is sleeping and it's time to upload these pictures before she wakes up!



More to come as the day goes on...I will try not to be too boring but it is raining outside and it is unlikely that we will go out.

I finally get ready for my day...no makeup; just a change of clothes and teeth brushing (took a shower earlier)

While I eat, Soraya plays:



"Mommy, put the camera away!"

Time to go to the store to hunt and gather before the rain starts to really come down.

She's ready to go! As soon as I buckled her in...she woke up.



My chariot:



I pulled into a parking spot and there was a shopping cart waiting for me! How did they know I was coming?



I bought some stew meat and returned home to begin cooking. It's a simple dish: butter, stew meat, pepper, onion powder, at 350 degrees for about 2 hours. Serve over rice.

That concludes my day...after I cooked dinner I pretty much went to sleep. I was laying down for awhile and fell asleep and decided to just stay in bed. I was very tired. Usually my day concludes at about midnight but last night I went to bed after dinner (at 10).
