Virtual Hump Day w/ VisualOddity... v.Nifty-Fifty... - 05-17-2007, 12:16 PM

I haven't done one of these in a while, so I decided to do it once again, and do it all with the 50mm F1.8. I sold mine a while back, and just the other day got another one. Of course I am excited, so I thought I'd do this and get reacquainted with it. So...

This is a Virtual Hump Day (wed) w/ VisualOddity... v.Nifty-Fifty

Woke up. Did all my morning stuff and got dressed. 67 degrees out. Nice morning...

Decided to make lunch today. This is the first time in years lol.

Added in an extra sammich for breakfast! Yes, cream cheese and jelly sammiches are awesome. You should try it...

Shawn got there just after 7am, parked the Mustang in the driveway, and we headed to work in my XJ...

Saw this on the way and fell in love. Nice, NICE C5! Slammed and Cammed...

The back entrance to work...

My buddy Val. He shoots w/ a Rebel XT as well. He uses the kit lens, a 50mm 1.4, and a 28-135mm IS...

Browsing TPF...

Lunch time... Somewhere along the way I aquired an apple and some chips! Yay!

Listening to a little Linkin Park on lunch...

These things are F'n AMAZING!

Bored and checking out Fark on my phone...

Just about time to go home...

Pit stop at the bank. And YES, I did get **** from Shawn about taking pics of everything for this post lol...

Traffic...

I'm more into full-on sportbikes (R1's, ect), but I liked this a lot for some reason...

$2.94 a gallon! Gar!

And this is all $18.xx got me! Double GAR!

And home... Notice my little Palm in the yard...

Goin to get some food. I guess I'll take my wife's Jeep...

She may have A/C, but she has less gas than me. So There! Ha!!!

Hey Sexy...

There are lots of these views around me...

Yum!

Bored while waiting on food...

Right on...

Setting my backup alarm. I tend to turn off the main alarm in my sleep, so I set this as a backup. It's saved my ass many times lol...

Going to bed about 4 hours early tonight, no clue why...

Night Night...

The fatties say hello...
This is Meyer...

And Oscar...

4x4 jeeps: you are self-disqualified from complaining about gasoline prices. Then you go to DQ for supper? Y'all got a Kroger's or HEB in Austin?

And if you live in or near Austin, you are also self-disqualified from complaining about traffic. Go kick your Austintacious no-growth ancestors. if there is any justice, they're stuck in traffic with you in their unairconditioned microbus.... sucking down the fumes from a diesel Excursion.....

btw, what planet is Oscar from? Does Homeland Security know about him? (they do now....)

you've inspired me to do the same.

The forum is hereby forewarned......

Hahahahahaha! That cracked me up!
The Jeep is better on gas than my old Big Block Furmula, the LT1 Z28, and the cammed out 306 86 GT (and thats leaving a few out)... ;) I'm good w/out A/C, and traffic can suck my ass. No micro-buses here. The rest of Austin might be hippie-afied, but not me... ;)
