i think $300 is like the standard or something-i bounced an almost brand new 430ex that i paid 300 for off of a concrete floor from about 22' (i measured since i had nothing else to do after that) btw, there is some REALLY cool looking stuff inside canon gear!

I learned a long time ago to leave mods to professionals. If I think of a mod I want I let the Don Goldbergs, Robert Grimes and John Milichs of the world make it. Saves money and aggravation in the long run.

I've done mods for years without issue. The problem is that I got lazy and decided to cut a few corners (blocking out light with a few pieces of paper held around the object). Talk about stupid!!!

Anyway, the camera has been sent off, and I also ordered a new 5D mkII which will arrive on Tuesday. It feels weird using my 20D again. There is such a hug difference between it and my 5D...
