David Lykes Keenan of Austin writes in The Digital Journalist on his experience with the Leica M8.2 and why he thinks it is a worthy successor to the film M's.

He also shares my finding the Nocton 35/1.2 is a killer single lens to use on it.

Dead on! Although he was a lot nicer with his comments than he needed to be.

The M8 is a great start but if I were a hardcore Leica lover I'd expect grand things out of the M9/M10 starting with full frame...

Haven't gotten one yet.. May not what with the Nocti and Canon 50/0.95, it just might be a little slow.
