I just used lensrentals.com and had really good luck. Appears the prices are all fairly similar..at least from what I was renting.

Cheaper? What do you expect? Give it to you for free? It sure is super expensive to rent a 300/.28 for $35/day or the 400/2.8 for $60/day. Would
be much better to buy them.

I just got back from Light Tec and picked up a 70-200 2.8IS for $37.
And that's for the weekend.
In March I rented a 24-105 from Lensrentals.com and it was like $90 for one week.
I think they rent some camera bodies, but I don't know which ones.
Bryant (at light tec) may come off as a little abrasive, but he's a pretty nice guy.

Hi there, I am the owner of PhotoRentalSource.com, a small mail order equipment rental company based in Houston. We are still building up our inventory, but we have a decent amount of Canon and Nikon gear, and it can be rented locally here in Houston without needing to pay for shipping.

If we don't have something you need then Lensrentals.com most likely has it (they have everything!)

I just worked with Brad at photorentalsource.com and would use them again. Very quick to respond and easy to work with. Recommend them, especially in Houston since you save on the shipping cost. Very reasonable prices. Thanks again Brad.

Absolutely, Light Tec. A little rough at first, but once he gets to know you, he really is a nice guy. Every time I've compared prices, he's come out on top.
