No it doesn't. Right now one of my favorite Leica lenses on the M8 is a 35/3.5 Summarit which was 295.00 USD from
B&H. Learn about Leica lenses (start with Puts, "
Leica Lens Compendium". You can get world class Leica lenses for under a thousand dollars if you do your homework, learn the realation between models and serial numbers. A lens may just say Summicron 35mm 1:2,0 but you reall want the version four which is the Bokeh king. So you have to learn how serial numbers relate to versions.
You also need to learn about non-Leica lenses you can use such as Canon SM mounts, Zeiss, Nikon, CV and more. Some CV lenses actually test out as good as some production Leica lenses at 100's of dollars not thousand's.
