I am interested in buying a wireless remote control for my Nikon D200.
Would love some suggestions on what you have and why you like or dislike it.

Thanks,

I bought one of those cheap wireless triggers for my D300 and my D700 off eBay and they work perfectly.

the Nikon ML-L3 works well on the D5000...I've only tried as far as 18-20 feet away and it has to be pretty much line of site...did no thru the window at probably 10-15 foot...wolf camera had one for $20 but you can mail order say from amazon for 15 or so...

^ Just make sure anything you buy will work with your camera body.

For example, with Canon there's the RC-1 that worked only with mostly entry-level cameras until the company made the new 5D Mark II backward-compatible with it.

I got one from here. It's cheap and it works.

Search ebay for a Phottix Cleon N8. It's an inexpensive and reliable 3rd party wired/wireless remote.

I have used my cybersync trigger and remote along with a cable I bought from Flashzebra.com to fire my canon. I believe that flashzebra also carries the cables that would be required for a d200. I think that is a pricey solution if you are only wanting to fire a camera, but has a dual purpose as well.

Works like a champ and at a good distance.

Here is the cable that you will need
http://www.flashzebra.com/products/0130/index.shtml

and will work with any remotes that accept a 1/4 mono.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!
