UPDATE: Ok it apparently had something to do with the way my computer was reading the card through the camera usb connection. I popped it into my mega-slow card reader on my printer and it shows up propery. Weird.
I don't know if this is a setting issue, or what, but for some reason, when I (accidentally) set my camera to RAW+JPG setting, I can't seem to get the NEF file off the camera, it's only two jpg's.
When I view them on the camera, it says it's RAW+FINE quality, but the files on the card say they're jpg's, and the file size reflects that.
For example, it will show:
DSC_4507
DSC_4507 (1).jpg
The file sizes show that they are both the same size, and are much smaller than the RAW files, obviously.
Is this a setting I'm missing? Or is there something wrong with my camera? If I shoot RAW+JPG on my D80 and put the card in the reader, it shows up as 4507.NEF, 4507.JPG.
Has anyone else experienced this?
