Opteka Wireless Remote Problems w/T1i - 01-10-2010, 05:52 PM

Hopefully someone can assist me. I tried a search and did not find any previous posts. When I use my Opteka Wireless remote in the Bulb mode on my T1i - it does not function properly. It just opens the shutter and immediate releases it. I cannot get it to hold the shutter open for more than a split second. Any ideas or advice is welcome.
