Ken Rockwell is a salesman... PERIOD.
He's in the business to generate income thru ad's and referrals to vendors.
I personally think Leicas are overpriced, but they're just as good as the top of the line pro canon/nikon gear.
Having played with an older Leica film body i might have to pick one up.

Shoot raw, use the correct white balance, and maybe create a custom DNG profile and I'm sure the color will be fine. After all the Kodak CCD's are known for having good color. | lololol seriously?! Rockwell is a tool.

Rockwell's comments/conclusions border on the unintelligible. By now I have seen, at a minimum, 100s (probably 1000s) of "people" shots taken with digital Leicas posted on the L Camera forum. I have not observed any "nasty yellow skin color" in any of these photos. I suppose you could claim they all corrected their images in post - except members of that forum are definitely not shy about pointing out flaws in their equipment.

Chuck, I am glad you posted what I was going to do! I do not understand why Leica users have to catch a lot of ... and justify the purchase. This is a free country after all... Some people buy "expensive" cameras, others buy boats, cars, cigarettes, liquor, vacation packages, or just keep their money in the bank... not good for the economy and jobs! We should look for the positive in others rather than the negative... IN my case, I sold a lot of canon gear to help the purchase of the Leica and lens and have not regretted one bit. I am even thinking of selling my M8.2 and buying and M9! Tri.

Sure, some might fit your description, but to make such a generalization is unfair.
