Renting a Canon 300 or 400mm lens

Hey everyone,

Haven't been on here in a long time! I'm a photojournalism major studying at UNT and for the Nascar event this weekend I have an available position in Pit Row at Texas Motor Speedway. The best lens I own is a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM, and in leu of of its epigrammatic focal length, I'm needing something with a little more reach.

I've called Arlington camera asking about their 300 & 400mm lenses, both of which have been rented for the weekend. Lesson learned.

I know this probably isn't a highly unusual question but I figure it wouldn't hurt in asking anyway:

Does anyone out there possibly have a Canon 300 or 400mm lens I could borrow for Saturday, Sunday or both?

I use a Canon 5D Mark II, my telephoto listed above, a Canon 17-40mm f/4L, and the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L - I'd be happy to meet with you in-person if this is a possibility.

I am renting the 400 from Arlington this weekend. I am only using it on Saturday and will have it back to them before they close on Saturday. If you need it for Sunday it will be available.

I've rented a 400 2.8 from lighttec in Houston. I'm sure the Dallas Location has one too because they are a bigger shop

Fort Worth Camera has a couple of 300 2.8s. Don't know if they are out or if they have 400s but you might check.
