HELP! Folding a 5-in-1 Reflector Kit - 04-18-2010, 01:36 PM

How the heck do you fold a 5'9" reflector, the size of a dining table, into that little bag in came in? I've done the one twist thinking that the clever way but still no luck. I can get one circle but ends up looking like an "8" and don't want to bend the band.

bend the ends together, and it will kinda collapse into three circles -- once that happens you should be able to manipulate it so that all three are roughly the same size and it will fit.

I usually have to make 2 or 3 attempts at it to make it work right.

found this:
Plz help collapse 4 in 1 40x72 reflector!! - Photo.net Lighting Equipment and Techniques Forum

one more:
LiteDisc Instructions

The only difference that I have found between the big ones and the round ones is that you do not need to do the twist thing, just pull the two edges into each other and it just kinda finds it's way into the three circles that you see on the video, and that I talked about.

maybe folding up reflectors should be something they put on that show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader". Sometimes it takes me awhile to remember how to fold my 30x60 when I haven't been using it for awhile. We had a big 6' x 9' ft background that took of two of us an hour to figure out.
